Traditions & textual sources
The mantras, stotras, aartis, and tithi information in Smaran draw from the following living traditions. All ancient texts used are in the public domain. We are deeply grateful to the scholars, pandits, and bhaktas who preserved and transmitted them.
Special thanks
Our deepest gratitude to the early users — the sadhakas — who trusted Smaran with their daily practice during beta, shared feedback, and helped shape a product worthy of the intention behind it. And to our families, who understood the early mornings and late nights this required.
Smaran was Bhakti in India, a city whose air carries the fragrance of jasmine, agarbatti, and a thousand prayers offered every morning. That city is, in many ways, the silent co-author of this app.
