About Smaran

Smaran is a daily Hindu prayer reminder app that helps users maintain their sadhana through deity reminders, mantras, and streak tracking.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds for Smaran+ subscriptions or purchases are considered when there is a verifiable issue with the service provided by Smaran.

Requirements for eligibility:

• Submission with transparent justification
• Relevant documentation or specifics (e.g. screenshots, order ID, account email)
• Internal validation through service examination

Ineligible scenarios include:

• Preference changes after purchase
• Subscription period partially consumed without a verifiable service issue
• App incompatibility with a specific device (where the issue is not caused by Smaran)
• Network or external service disruptions outside our control (your ISP, Google Play, Firebase, Supabase, etc.)
• Reminders missed due to OEM battery-optimisation or auto-start restrictions on the device
• Missed subscription cancellation deadlines through Google Play

2. Evaluation Process

Our support team evaluates claims using service activity data, technical analysis, and the information you provide.

Notification: The decision is communicated to your registered email address.

Authority: The final decision regarding refund eligibility rests solely with AppCrunch.

For purchases made through Google Play, Google's own refund policies and timelines also apply and may take precedence (Google Play Store → Order history → Request refund). We recommend trying that route first for purchases under 48 hours old.

3. Refund Timeline & Method

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method used during purchase. Actual timelines depend on your bank or payment provider.

4. Cancellation Policy

Smaran+ subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through Google Play account settings (Settings → Subscriptions → Smaran → Cancel) or by contacting support directly.

Key points:

• Cancellation stops upcoming charges
• You retain access to Smaran+ features until the end of the current billing cycle
• A refund for the current billing cycle applies only if the request meets the eligibility criteria in Section 1

5. Non-Refundable Services

Some offerings may be designated non-refundable at the time of purchase. Where this applies, it will be made clear before you complete payment.

6. Policy Changes

Smaran reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Updates will be posted in-app or on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
